With the new millennium, came Chasing The Sun. A cornucopia of world-class musicians, adding to the uncompromising style of guitar great Chris Poland. This is Chris' second solo record post Megadeth departure and unequivocally one of the most intense instrumentals ever caught on tape. With Poland commandeering the production helm, he sought to bring only the heaviest players on deck. Brother Mark Poland took on the bulk of the drumming duties, while Tina Turner wild man, David Eagle, played on the bonus track. Francis Di Cosmo of Evanescence and Jaded, unleashes his sonic fury on most of the bass tracks. Robby Pagliari of OHM is his Choc' full o' snap, crackle and kaboom self on tracks 3 and 13, leaving even the most refined player pushing his eyes back into his skull and picking his jaw up from the floor ...salivating for more.
